The Phoenix Gallery is a place where we bring together art, travel, and intercultural influences in captivating exhibitions. Our story is deeply connected to the life and experiences of our founder, Tobias Brill, whose passion for art and love of discovery shape the unique vision of our gallery.

Tobias Brill was born in Timișoara, Romania, and moved to Germany at the age of two. He grew up surrounded by nature, but it was the inspiration from extensive travels with his parents that opened his eyes to the richness of diverse cultures and art forms. This early fascination led to years of education and exploration—from attending an international school in South Bohemia to studying in Oxford—and finally, to the determination to make his artistic dreams a reality.

Our journey began with successful exhibitions of exquisite Oriental rugs, which laid the foundation for future creative endeavors. On Malta, we curated unique shows featuring artists like Anna Boria, a renowned ceramicist from Sicily. Since then, the Phönix Gallery has become known for bringing together extraordinary artists and themes, from the intricate paintings of a Munich-based artist to exclusive luxury pieces like engraved and gold-plated designs.

A pivotal moment was our participation in the Big Boys Toys exhibition in Abu Dhabi, which inspired us to continue exploring the intersection of art and luxury. Our exhibitions, whether in Munich, by Lake Chiemsee, or at the Fine Art & Antiques Fair in London, showcase a wide range of themes: precious minerals, handcrafted luxury knives, and the stunning finger paintings by Mamadou Diakhaté from Senegal.
